ConstructSecure has announced the recipients of its prestigious safety awards for 2021. Corrado American successfully completed the Independent Safety Assessment Program and has achieved the Gold Safety Award. This award is presented to companies who register a safety score between 85% – 95% in the program.
“Corrado American LLC has done a remarkable job of implementing a strong safety management system. In addition to keeping employees safe, safety performance of this caliber should reduce their insurance premiums,” says Garrett Burke, CEO of ConstructSecure.
The Safety Assessment Program reviews a company’s historic safety performance and current safety management systems. The platform normalizes data for vendor or contractor size and type of work performed.
The program provides thorough, objective and consistent evaluation of company performance so clients can identify, monitor, and manage risk smarter. The results provide a strong indicator of how a vendor or contractor values safety and a reliable predictor of future performance.
At Corrado American, we lead with safety, and it is embedded into our company values. We are proud to have a strong track record in safety with an incident rate that is consistently better than others in the industry. There is always room for improvement, and we will continue to prioritize our safety and compliance programs and efforts, ensuring our employees and subcontractors go home safely every day.

Trench and Rescue Training 2019
New Castle, DE – October 16, 2019 – Corrado American facilitated a trench rescue training session over the weekend, hosted by the New Castle County Special Operations Team. All state of Delaware county teams participated in this important training to learn about the equipment used in trench rescues, the anatomy of a trench and how to work as a team during a rescue.
Corrado American provided the site, CAT excavator and our own operator Billy Paige for the training session.
Two trenches were set up and both new and experienced rescuers were able to practice scenario-based rescues such as a victim trapped under a concrete pipe and a side wall collapse. The teams focused on deep trenches, lifting and moving, and failed trenches.
This is critical training for our emergency responders and Corrado American is honored we were able to help those who help us.
Thank you Corrado American for your support. It was an amazing class.”
