New Castle, DE – October 16, 2019 – Corrado American facilitated a trench rescue training session over the weekend, hosted by the New Castle County Special Operations Team. All state of Delaware county teams participated in this important training to learn about the equipment used in trench rescues, the anatomy of a trench and how to work as a team during a rescue.
Corrado American provided the site, CAT excavator and our own operator Billy Paige for the training session.
Two trenches were set up and both new and experienced rescuers were able to practice scenario-based rescues such as a victim trapped under a concrete pipe and a side wall collapse. The teams focused on deep trenches, lifting and moving, and failed trenches.
This is critical training for our emergency responders and Corrado American is honored we were able to help those who help us.
Thank you Corrado American for your support. It was an amazing class.”
